It wont let me tap?

This game is really fun and provides a modern spin on a classic game. I really like it, and think its one of the best in the focus series. The only thing is, it wont register my taps sometimes! I lose an average of 3 lives per round because of it. One minute Im playing fine, the next it stops spinning no matter how many times or how hard I tap! Then it suddenly starts up again, after Ive lost a life or two. I dont know if this is a problem with how Im playing (tap and hold one side to spin one way, the other side to spin the other way) but its really annoying me. It would be cool if you guys could take a look and see if its a problem or if its just me? Thanks.
